Proposed Rate Increase

Aqua Water Supply Corporation (Aqua WSC) is committed to maintaining reliable, high-quality water service for our members. To continue meeting the growing needs of our system and ensure the long-term sustainability of our infrastructure, a rate increase has been proposed for consideration by Aqua WSC’s Board of Directors.

Proposed Rate Adjustments
If approved, the following changes will take effect:

  • Residential Base Rate: Increase from $34.80 to $38.60
  • First Tier (0–10,000 gallons): From $5.20 to $5.80 per 1,000 gallons
  • Second Tier (10,000–20,000 gallons): From $8.00 to $8.70 per 1,000 gallons
  • Third Tier (over 20,000 gallons): From $9.70 to $10.40 per 1,000 gallons
  • Large Volume Service (greater than 1” meter): From $6.90 to $7.90 per 1,000 gallons

The average residential customer (a typical household using approximately 6,000–7,000 gallons per month) is expected to see an increase of approximately $8.00 per month.

We invite members to attend the December Board meeting to learn more or provide feedback before the Board’s vote. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Aqua WSC Annex Building, located at 401 Old Austin Highway in Bastrop, Texas. During this meeting, the Board of Directors will vote on the proposed rate increase and review the financial factors and public comments related to this decision.
